Mail - How do I write an inmate?
Inmates may receive mail. Please address the letter as follows:
• Sender’s complete return address (Upper Left Corner)
• Inmate’s Name
• Inmate’s Identification Number
• Institution/Pod Name
• 1250 Winkles Road
• Sumter, SC 29153
Only letters and money orders will be accepted. Please do not send items such as cash, stamps, envelopes, pictures, and other similar items. Such items will be returned to the sender’s address that is listed. If no address is provided, these unauthorized items will be discarded.
